Discovered two inner layers of murals During the Restoration work of the Seventeenth Century murals at Pazhoor Temple in 1996-1997. The Discovered murals believed to be done between the 13th century and 16th century. and it presently considered as the oldest existing oldest mural paintings.

Completed the renovation works of the Ettumanoor Temple murals in 1997-1998, under the guidence of the Archeologgy Department and restored the original glory of murals by using traditional nature colours.
